Our Trust is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving all communities with love and goodwill, regardless of caste, creed, race, or religion. We conduct religious activities such as prayer meetings, Bible studies, worship services, Sunday schools, retreats, workshops, seminars, training, Bible camps, pastoral care, and counseling. Additionally, we publish newsletters, books, textbooks, calendars, religious materials, videos, online content, and movies in various languages. To foster education and skill development, we establish and manage formal and informal schools, training centers, community education services, music schools, sports facilities, coaching centers, computer training centers, libraries, research centers, colleges, and universities, including boarding facilities for students and staff. We provide scholarships and financial aid for education, skill training, coaching, research, and educational tools, while also organizing activities to uplift society and support the poor and needy. Our initiatives include skill-based training to create livelihood opportunities, breaking the cycle of poverty, and promoting healthcare services , supporting healthcare initiatives in low-income areas, and collaborating with charitable organizations in the healthcare sector. We are committed to preserving language and culture, ensuring indigenous women's rights through participation and capacity building, and conducting research to address unique cultural challenges. Environmental protection is a priority, achieved through tree planting and safeguarding watersheds, forests, and wildlife. To achieve our goals, we raise funds through donations, grants, and financing from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government sectors, and accept movable and immovable property donations. We hire full-time and part-time staff, engage consultants, and welcome volunteers from India and abroad to experience Indian culture and contribute to our work. Our Trust promotes peace, solidarity, national unity, and an equitable society by upholding dignity and justice for all. We also acquire, manage, and dispose of land and construct and maintain buildings to support our objectives. All activities are conducted with a service-oriented motive, without the intention of earning profit.

For a long time, many committed Christians thought of serving the communities for holistic development as a part of Christian commitment. Their motivation stemmed not merely from a sense of social responsibility, but from a profound understanding of the Lord’s call to be the light and salt of the earth. They were inspired to continue the contribution of Christians of the past to the communities of Chotanagpur. They were particularly inspired by the witness of Navin Doman Pore Tirkey who was transformed by the power of the Good News and lived a life of witness and service. With him began a movement of the Good News that has touched and changed countless lives across many communities in Chotanagpur and beyond. The indigenous communities have particularly been touched by this special and amazing Good News. 

Many of them believe that God has blessed them as Oraon-Christians. They rejoice in this unique identity because in it, both their Oraonness and their faith in Jesus Christ are affirmed and transformed. In gratitude, they acknowledge the twin blessings of reservations, namely,  in education and jobs and other fields as well as blessings of forgiveness, freedom and promise of eternal life. In this transformed life of faith, they want to both give glory and honour to God but also engage in serving God’s people without any descrimination based on caste, creed, religion and tribe. They hope to become blessings for others esopecially for those who are on the margins of society and have less access to resources for a life promised by God.

Many of these friends came together which led to the formation and registration of Navin Doman Trust in January of 2025.
