Our Vision for Education
We believe a good Christian English medium Education is the foundation of a life of greater purpose for God's glory and his Kingdom. At present, Navin Doman Trust is running two schools, namely, Paracleta Play School and Bishop Nirmal Minz School. The vision of the school is to be one of the best Christian Boarding (Residential) Schools in the region, especially, for the children of those engaged in ministry and also those who are poor and marginalised and are unable to afford good quality education and to the children of persecuted christians.
Our Schools
The believers have chosen two saints of the soil to honor them. By naming these schools after remarkable servants of God, we not only honor their lives and sacrificial service but also draw inspiration from their examples to faithfully serve God's Kingdom purpose.
Bishop Nirmal Minz School (BNMS)
Bishop Nirmal Minz School is named in honor of Bishop Dr. Nirmal Minz, a distinguished church leader, educator, theologian, and advocate for tribal communities. He founded Gossner College, Ranchi, in 1971 and served as the first Bishop of the North Western Gossner Evangelical Lutheran Church from 1980 to 1996.
Having earned a Ph.D. in Theology from the United States, Bishop Dr. Minz dedicated his life to serving the Church and the tribal communities of Chotanagpur. Through his lifelong ministry, theological reflection, and visionary leadership, he became widely respected as a “People’s Theologian”—a scholar whose theology was deeply rooted in the faith, culture, struggles, and aspirations of ordinary people.
In a pioneering initiative, he introduced the teaching of the tribal and regional languages of Chotanagpur at Gossner College in 1971, affirming the importance of indigenous languages, identity, and cultural heritage in higher education.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Church, education, literature, and society, he received numerous honors, including the Sahitya Academy Award. Bishop Nirmal Minz School seeks to carry forward his enduring legacy of faith, education, service, cultural dignity, and commitment to the holistic development of future generations.
Paraclata Play School (PPS)
Paracleta Play School was established in honor of Paracleta Marian Minz, a pioneer in early childhood education in Ranchi. She founded the city's first kindergarten in 1969 and later established one of its first day-care centers in the 1980s, laying a strong foundation for quality preschool education. Having received training in Germany, she embraced the biblical call to a life of Christian witness and service. There she also witnessed the transformative impact of Christ-centered ministry among children, which deeply shaped her vision and lifelong commitment. Inspired by this calling, she dedicated her life to serving the Church and society, with a special passion for nurturing children and empowering women. In a remarkable expression of her generosity and vision, she also donated the land on which Paracleta Play School now stands, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to bless future generations.

A Christian school in ethos and practice.
As Kingdom Workers, teachers gather to pray for God's Kingdom to begin the school.
Teachers love and care for students as their first and foremost calling, creating a loving and caring environment for learning and growing.
Preference for children of ministry workers, persecuted believers and poor and marginalized families.
Teaching and practice of indigenous / local Kurukh language and culture.
Teaching of German Language.
Teaching of musical instruments, and emphasis on sports and co-curricular activities.
Emphasis on learning by doing and using online high quality resources for learning.
Providing basic skill training.
Inculcating spirit of volunteerism.
Involvement of Kingdom workers for the transformation of families and communities.
Providing resource and support to schools in very remote areas.
Beginnings…
The school began on 11 February 2023 as Paracleta Play School with many children of migrant workers who were working in nearby brick making factory. In fact, these children inaugurated the school. On this day, Itki C.O. was the Chief Guest who encouraged us to build this school further for which we are grateful.
The teachers whom we call Kingdom Workers, washed the feet of these children to welcome them as first students of the school. We continue this practice of feet-washing in the school.
